Victims

• Six people, including four young children, were found deceased in a home on Barhaven Drive.
• The victims are identified as 35-year-old Darani Banaki Nikeayan, her seven-year-old son Anuka Wickrama Sing, four-year-old daughter Ashwien, two-year-old daughter Reana, and two and a half-month-old daughter Kelly.
• Also deceased is 40-year-old Americon Gamini Americone, an acquaintance of the family who was living in the home.

Suspect

• A 19-year-old male, Frank Dzoba, has been arrested and charged with six counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
• The accused is a Sri Lankan national believed to have been in Canada as a student.

• Police believe this was a mass killing, not a mass shooting, and an edged weapon was used.
