Stanford Ignite Program Overview

Stanford Ignite is a four-week intensive entrepreneurship and innovation program offered by Stanford University.
It is designed for graduate students, postdocs, and working professionals from the Stanford community and the Bay Area.
The program features classes on core business skills, applied skills, and dedicated entrepreneurship topics.
Participants work on a team venture project, receiving guidance from professors and industry experts.
The program culminates in a pitch to a panel of professional investors, providing valuable feedback and insights.

The program is held online using Zoom, with live and interactive sessions, virtual social events, and a Slack workspace for networking.
It runs from October 6 to 31, 2024, with classes from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm every weekday and a team check-in on Saturdays.
A pre-program component starts on September 10th for accessing materials and submitting venture ideas.
The program fee is $2500, covering all program materials and faculty fees, but it's not GI Bill eligible.

The Ignite application deadline is July 25th.
The online application includes essays, short answer questions, a resume or CV upload, and one recommendation submitted via a form in the application.
Applicants will also complete an online video interview, which can be practiced beforehand but only recorded once.

There are three Ignite program offerings per year: two general programs and one specifically for post-9/11 veterans.
The core content, faculty, and subject matter are the same for all programs, but the veteran's program has tailored content and guest speakers relevant to their experiences.
Non-US military veterans can join the program but at a higher tuition rate.
